The Society operates several Crèches throughout Northern Ireland. They were established to allow mothers to take up part-time employment without having to worry about childcare.

 

Some have additional activities such as Playgroups for older children and Mother & Toddler groups for babies and small infants.

 

One main barrier to employment for many single parents with no extended family is the high costs involved in childcare should they wish to take up employment.
