Our volunteers visit needy people throughout Northern Ireland everyday of the year and offer them help and direct emergency assistance where possible.
As you can see, from the list opposite, over £2.72 of money you donated went on helping those most in need.
The greatest increase in need was in Fuel, Gas and Electricity. Spending here increased from £477k in 2009 to £619k last year, reflecting the growing costs of fuel poverty in NI.
As you can see from the graph, the amount of your money spent helping people in need over the last 20 years in Northern Ireland has risen quite dramatically. These rises have continued despite the shake-up in the welfare system, tremendous inward investment and the end of social conflict.
