To add to the momentum of the fundraising campaign to gather the much needed funds to complete the rebuild, Clare Lodge now has its very own dedicated website.

As the campaign progresses, site updates will reveal the latest amounts raised and how the rebuilding is moving forward. Please click on the site image above to visit the new site.

Clare Lodge is a Society of St Vincent de Paul holiday home situated in Newcastle, Co Down which has been providing short breaks to thousands of mobile senior citizens from throughout Northern Ireland for over 30 years.

It has outgrown it's purpose in its present form and now requires a complete transformation. Residents stay in dormitory type rooms with communal bathrooms. It has been unsatisfactorily altered to allow it to comply with fire regulations and disabled access is difficult

The current building is generally not considered satisfactory for the long term sustainability of a holiday home.

Our aim is to rebuild Clare Lodge and replace it with Northern Ireland's number one Holiday Centre. We have a dedicated fundraising committee who have been working tirelessly to raise the much needed funds to transform Clare Lodge.

To rebuild we require £2.5m and already over £500,000 has been raised. If you think you can donate or help in any other way contact Clare Lodge through the website 'HERE'
