The students split into four groups and ice-breakers involving various games and outdoor activities were the order of the day. After dinner a ghost walk was organised and enjoyed by all. This was followed by evening supper and a DVD.
After breakfast and worship on Thursday they headed for the beautiful beach at Ballycastle for more outdoor pursuits. Back at Corrymeela an Open Forum ensued where students were able to discuss and exchange their experiences with SVP.
After volleyball and football there was a special service which was also attended by members from local branches of the SVP, where they enjoyed tea and coffee and talked about the work of the SVP in the area. This was followed by the much awaited disco, bonfire and supper.
On Friday morning they received a talk about the Millennium Volunteers by Sonya from Corrymeela. Then it was time to say goodbye. Many happy memories were shared on the bus trips home, where new friendships were made and that is what Camp Vincent is all about.
