Ciara said: "We had a lot of stock from all the decades in the shop and it seemed like a fun idea to put it all together in a display. The customers have loved it. We've even had people coming over from West Belfast to view it. Our Ormeau Road shop achieved a media scoop recently with their '70s window display.   Not only did the display attract the attention of the local community but also the local and national newspapers who sent their reporters hot-footing it the shop to take some photos.   An old 'Silver-Cross' pram, a tank top clad mannequin and a seventies style tea set were all part of the kitsch 1970s style at our Thrift Shop on Belfast's lower Ormeau Road.     click to enlarge   The retro display dedicated to the era was put together by shop assistant Ciara McCarney and has already caused a bit of a stir on the road.   click to enlarge
