and Selection Training in Newcastle
The latest round of 'In-House'
training continued at our senior citizens holiday
home in Newcastle, Co Down provided by the Equality
Commission for NI.
As
one of Northern Ireland's biggest charities we also
employ over 100 full and part-time staff in our
shops, offices and projects. Recruitment and selection
is very important to us as employers and so we invited
Heather Wilson of the Equality
Commission to deliver a one day training course
to the management committee on the following:-

Northern
Trainer's Day - Magherafelt
As
part of the Society's ongoing internal training, twelve key
members from throughout Northern Ireland gathered at the Laurel
Villa Guest House in Magherafelt on Saturday 14th
October 2006 to discuss progress achieved to date.
We
must adapt to a changing world and where needed, change our
approaches and offer new forms of help to groups with new
needs.
The
day was spent tackling three main issues:-
