Our National President Brian O'Reilly and Regional President Larry McArdle both addressed the audience re-enforcing the theme of "Changes & Challenges" by urging members to take on board all that was discussed today by "turning words into action".

Also speaking at the event was our our Regional Youth President Michael Gormley who spoke about the importance of young members and their role within a changing Society - more here...

On Sunday morning David Carlin from the Anti Racist Network gave an emotional talk on the plight facing asylum seekers and migrant workers in areas including housing and employment.

He thanked the Society for providing much needed basic living essentials and friendship to those who faced the uphill battle of restrictive red-tape from many statutory organisations.
