In Giving We Receive....

Many individuals, schools, local businesses and other groups helped make Christmas a little brighter for thousands of disadvantaged people by answering our appeals for donations during SVP Week in December.

Thousands of toys, gifts and food hampers were kindly donated to the Society in response to our Annual Appeal for help during SVP Week.

We wish to extend our gratitude and thanks to all those individuals and companies who bought a gift or contributed some food to a hamper or made a financial contribution.

Praising all those who helped in this mammoth task, Aileen Coney, SVP Regional Administrator said;

"Without your continued help and support (especially at this time of year) we would be unable to help those living at the fringes of society at Christmas".

Our network of volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that all requests for toys, food and any other assistance over the Christmas period were fulfilled.
