The highlight of their visit was the 160th Anniversary Celebrations of the foundation of the Society in Ireland (1844-2004) at Dublin's RDS, where they were among many other foreign guests and other dignatories. |

| The Society was priveleged to welcome Elizabeth Therson Cofie and Frank Vitor as their guests for several days during our 160th anniversary celebrations. Elizabeth and Frank were representing Ghana to which we in Northern Ireland are 'Twinned' - Click 'here' to read more .

During their visit they were treated to a welcome buffet on arrival and met with Society members who had been in Ghana in August 2003 on a house building project. They also travelled to Downpatrick and to West Belfast, where they met Society members involved in our shops and other activities.
They were given a grand tour of Belfast's City Hall and received gifts from the Lady Mayoress Dympna Morgan before a celebratory meal at Belfast Castle. | |
