The UK Conservative Party is seeking to identify the gaps in Government support experienced by those who live in the interface areas of Belfast.

Conservative MP on fact-finding mission

As part of its research Quentin Davis MP, its spokesman on Northern Ireland (second from left) and Lord Bridgeman (second from right), House of Lords NI spokesman and conservative central office member Jonathan Caine (first on right), called at the Society’s headquarters in Belfast and spoke to Aileen Coney (Regional Administrator), regional president Larry McArdle (third from left) ex-director Colm McNicholl.

The Society has been to the forefront in addressing the needs of the disadvantaged throughout NI, especially those suffering as a result of community conflict and the group was interested to hear of our cross-community work with needy people in both communities at many of the ‘flashpoint’ areas.
