Aileen Coney has joined the Society as its new regional administrator.

 

Aileen is no stranger to the Society having been involved with it since being a youth member of the Holy Family conference in Coalisland, Co Tyrone, while she was at secondary school.

Some older members will remember Aileen as an undergraduate student conducting research on the Society in its library.

 

For her work ‘A case study on voluntary sector development’, Aileen was awarded the Richard Titmuss prize for best dissertation at the NUU .

 

More recently, Aileen has worked as development office for the East Tyrone area council and has been a regular contributor to Vincentian news on socio-economic matters.
